Gideon Schwartzman is an Architectural Designer born in Israel, raised in Chicago, and currently based in Boston. Gideon received his Master of Architecture with distinction from the University of Michigan, and is currently a SMarchS Architectural Design candidate with a teaching + research fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

While at MIT, Gideon received the Marvin E. Goody Award for his thesis Many Mini Model Homes and the Louis C. Rosenberg Travel Fellowship to study Hundertwasser in Western Europe. Gideon has been published in Dimensions, Plat, Pool, and Fresh Meat with writings ranging from pop reference to the consequences of material abstraction.
